Second of two meetings this season. @ Anaheim Oct. 20th – Anaheim-6 Canadiens-2. Price allows 6 on 45 shots. 30 of Canadiens 51 shots on John Gibson in the second period. Derek Grant – 2 goals. Wagner, Montour & Vermette each with a goal and assist. Gallagaher and Byron scored for Montreal.

….The Canadiens have won the last two home meetings against Anaheim and three of four at the Bell Centre since the 2012 lockout.

….All-time at the Bell Centre the Ducks are 6-7-2.

Price vs. Ward. Canadiens outshot 36-24. @ Bell Centre Jan. 25 Carolina-6 Canadiens-5. Taravainen two goals. Noah Hanifin 3 assists. Hudon 2 goals, 1 assist. Petry 1 goal, 2assists. Price vs. Ward.

….With a win Carolina would sweep a Canadiens season series for the second time in franchise history. They swept the Canadiens in 1994-95 when the team was in Hartford.

…..Since the Dec. 12th lockout the Canadiens are 4-3-1 at Carolina. Overall since the lockout the Canadiens are 11-5-1.

….Since the 2012 NHL lockout the Canadiens are 1-1-2 at St. Louis. The last two games at St. Louis were losses decided in overtime.

….Since Nov. 2008 at St. Louis, the Canadiens are 2-1-3 – three of the six games decided in overtime.

…..Home and away the Canadiens are 3-2-2 vs. the Blues over the last 3-plus seasons. Prior to that the Blues had won five in a row and were 7-0-1 over eight.

…..Since the 2012 lockout the Canadiens are 11-4-1 overall vs. Carolina.

…..The last time the Canadiens met the Hurricanes at the Bell Centre they were beaten 4-1 March 23rd. It was the first Carolina win in Montreal since Feb. 13, 2012. Since then the Canadiens are 7-1-0 at home and have outscored the Avalanche 23-7. The Canadiens shutout the Avalanche in 3 of the eight meetings (Price twice & Budaj).

….Since the start of the 2008-09 season the Canadiens are 12-3-1 vs. Carolina at the Bell Centre.

Pacioretty, Deslauriers and Galchenyuk for Montreal. @ Boston Jan . 17th Boston-4 Canadiens-1. Pastrnak, Spooner, Marchand and Krejci (ENG). Jerabek for Montreal.

…. Since the 2012 lockout the Canadiens have played the Bruins 12 times at theBell Centre. Their record is 6-4-2.

….Overall since the lockout the Canadiens are 15-6-2 vs Boston (they are 9-2-0 at Boston over that span)

The Capitals have earned a point in ten of the last 12 home/away meetings with the Canadiens (8-2-2) and 23 of the last 27 (19-4-4).

…..Since the start of the 2009-2010 season the Capitals have an overall record of 19-5-4 vs. Montreal.

….The last time the Canadiens met the Bruins at Boston was Feb. 12th 2017, five days after Claude Julien was fired. Tuukka Rask stopped 25 shots in a 4-0 shutout win. It was Michel Therrien’s last game as Canadiens head coach. Two days later he was fired to be replaced by Julien.

….Prior to the 4-0 loss at Boston last February the Canadiens had won nine straight games at Boston dating back to Jan. 12 2012, the night the Canadiens traded Michael Cammalleri to Calgary mid game.

….The Islanders have won the last two meetings vs. the Canadiens. Prior to that the Canadiens won 7 straight.

….The Islanders have allowed one goal in winning their two straight vs. Montreal. Thomas Greiss was in goal for both victories.

The Canadiens are now 13 points behind Boston in the Atlantic Division with Boston still holding two games in hand.

….This will be the first time the Bruins will play against former coach Claude Julien who was fired last February 7th and hired by the Canadiens February 14th. Julien is the Bruins all time winningest coach.

….The Canadiens have score fewer than two goals in four of the past seven meetings between the teams. The last Bell Centre meeting in December 2016 was a 2-1 Canadiens loss
