Notes

…Boston GM Peter Chiarelli on a home and home series with the Canadiens being a wake-up call for his team.  “I would hope that that would be the case against Montreal. They’re rivals, we’ve had some real good games and
series with them and all that history last year.”

….. The Canadiens had not gone this deep into a season before getting their second win since 1941-42, when they got off to a 1-10-1 start

…. . Carey Price with his win over Philadelphia Wednesday night became  the fifth-youngest goalie in the expansion era to reach triple figures in wins. Price is 100-80-26.

…..The game will mark the first on-ice appearance together of Max Pacioretty and Zdeno Chara since the ‘stanchion’ incident at the Bell Centre March 8th.

…..Bruins head coach Claude Julien on Pacioretty “I can tell you one thing we’re happy about honestly, and it would be for anybody else, is that he’s healthy,  As a player in the league, you don’t want to see somebody end his career on an unfortunate accident. But what you want to see is a player to come back and be healthy. As far as that’s concerned, he’s healthy, we’ve turned the page and now it’s time to move on.”
