22-Andreas Engqvist – Hamilton Bulldogs

Andreas Engqvist filled the role of fourth line checking forward in his earlier eight game stint with the Canadiens.  As a result he averaged just over six minutes a game and did not record a point.   When he was returned to the Bulldogs, head coach Clement Jodoin immediately put him on the Bulldogs top line with Aaron Palushaj and Engqvist started to show an offensive side to his game.   In 23 games he scored 13 goals and 10 assists while maintaining a team leading plus-9 rating.  With the injuries to Travis Moen and Petteri Nokelainen he gets another shot when the Canadiens play the Detroit Red Wings Wednesday night.
