The NHL Friday announced the cancellation of all games up to November first meaning the Canadiens have lost a total of five regular season home dates to go with their five lucrative exhibition home games.

Nine Canadiens home and away games are gone including a home and home set with Boston.  Also home games against Ottawa, Washington, Philadelphia and Anaheim plus, along with Boston, road games at Toronto, Minnesota and Calgary.

NEW YORK (October 19, 2012) – The National Hockey League announced today the cancellation of the 2012-13 regular-season schedule through November 1.  A total of 135 regular-season games were scheduled for Oct. 11 through Nov. 1.
