 ….The Canadiens are looking to extend their longest home winning streak in three seasons.  They managed the fewest home wins in the NHL last year at 16.  After losing to Toronto in the season opener they have five in a row at home, their longest longest home win streak since they won five consecutive between Oct. 20-31 2009.


…..The Canadiens have scored four goals or more in five of their last six games.  They managed only one in their loss to Ottawa Wednesday.

Defencemen Andrei Markov and Raphael Diaz share the team point scoring lead with eight.
