Dustin Tokarski – Hamilton Bulldogs

Dustin Tokarski recorded his second straight shutout as the Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Abbotsford Heat 2-0 Tuesday night at Coppa Coliseum.  Tokarski stopped 27 shots in running his shutout streak to 143:19.

Joey Tenute and Louis Leblanc scored the goals.  The Leblanc goal came into an empty net.

In the six games he’s played for Hamilton since coming over from Tampa in return for Cedrick Desjardins, Tokarski has never allowed more than two goals.  His goals against average is 1.18 and save percentage is .960.  Overall, he has five shutouts this season.  The other three came while he was with Tampa’s Syracuse farm team.

The ‘Dogs have won eight of their last 11 games.

The Bulldogs’ next game is against the Griffins in Grand Rapids on Friday.
