……The Canadiens will be missing two of their left wingers, Max Pacioretty with an injured left leg or hip and Rene Bourque with the flu. Travis Moen will replace Bourque on the Plekanec line, Brandon Prust with Desharnais and Briere. Rookie defenceman Nathan Beaulieu will play with White and Bournival on the fourth line.

……Daniel Briere will be playing against Columbus for the seventh time in his fourth different uniform. Playing for Phoenix, Buffalo and Philadelphia he has eight assists in six games.
……P.K Subban, after failing to register a point in the season opener, now has a five game point streak going: 2 goals, 6 assists. His eight points leads all NHL defensemen.
