20-Louis Leblanc – Five Points in Last Two Games

Louis Leblanc did it again for the Hamilton Bulldogs.

The former first Canadiens first round draft choice scored his second goal of the game at 1:26 of overtime to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 win over the Rochester Americans Friday night.  It was the second straight game Leblanc scored the overtime winner and, after recording zero points through his first four games of the season, he has five points, including three goals in his last two.

Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Nick Tarnasky, his fourth and Magnus Nygren.  For the Americans, who twice trailed in the game by two goals, it was Luke Adam, Frederic Roy and Braydon McNabb.  (Game summary and team season statistics below)

With the win the Bulldogs moved into a tie with the Toronto Marlies for first place in the AHL’s North Division.
