Like the Canadiens Tuesday in their game against Minnesota, the Bulldogs ran up a 4-0 in the second period before coasting home to the win. It was their second win in a row after a six game losing streak.
Veteran Nick Tarnasky scored twice for the Bulldogs.
Former Halifax Moosehead forward Stephen MacAulay, who was called up from Wheeling of the ECHL on Monday, added a goal and assist and was named the game’s first star. In Wheeling, MacAulay had only two assists in 12 games.
Steve Quailer and Erik Nystrom completed the scoring. For Nystrom, it was his first goal as a North American professional. He was the second Bulldog to score his first professional goal Tuesday.
