(Photo by Vincent Ethier/Evenko)The Hamilton Bulldogs winning streak ended at six games Saturday night as the Rochester Americans scored a 3-1 win at Copps Coliseum in the back end of the home and home series.

Greg Pateryn’s 7th goal of the season gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 first period lead but the Americans came back with a goal from Brandon MacLean in the second period and Johan Larsson in the third to take a 2-1 lead.  The third Rochester goal, scored by Adam Luke was scored on an empty net.

Shots on goal were 35-27 in favour of Hamilton.

The Bulldogs complete their three games in three 72 hours schedule with a game at home against the Iowa Wild Sunday.
