Game Notes

.The Canadiens have won six of the last eight meetings against Tampa.

.The teams have split 2-1 shootout wins in their two meetings this season. The Lightning beat the Canadiens in a Bell Centre November shootout, the Canadiens on December 28th at Tampa.

.After winning three in a row at home, Tampa has opened a four game road trip with losses in Toronto Monday and Ottawa Thursday.

.Both Tampa goaltenders were injured Thursday night in the 5-2 loss to Ottawa. Ben Bishop was struck in the head by the skate of teammate Nikita Kucherov and had to leave the game. Anders Lindback suffered an ankle injury in a goalmouth collision but stayed in the game.
