For the second night in a row the Manitoba Moose defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs in a shootout. Both games were settled by identical 4-3 scores. The Bulldogs record after five games is 2-1-2.

Hamilton defenceman Yannick Weber continued his torrid season start with his 5th goal and third on the power play. Weber leads the Bulldogs in scoring with nine points.   David Desharnas and Gabriel Dumont also scored for Hamilton while rookie Brendon Nash picked up two assists. Ben Maxwell also recorded an assist and remains one point behind Weber with three goals and five assists.

Peter Delmas made his first professional start in goal for the Bulldogs stopping 24 of 27 shots. Delmas played with the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec League last season and has been backup to Robert Mayer while Curtis Sanford recovers from a throat injury.

The Bulldogs will play Oklahoma City Sunday afternoon at 1.00pm. The game will be seen live on CBC.
