BULLDOGS AMERICANST.J. Hensick scored two goals in the final four minutes of the second period as the Hamilton Bulldogs came from behind to edge the Rochester Americans 3-2 Friday night at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton.

Rookie Charles Hudon assisted on both goals to pad his lead atop the AHL scoring race. He now has 9 goals and 20 assists in 26 games, three more than Hartford’s Chris Bourque and Teemu Pulkkinen of the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Gabriel Dumont scored the other Hamilton goal. For the Americans it was Johan Larsson and Dan Catenacci.

Hamilton outshot the Americans 24-23. Mike Condon was back in goal for the Bulldogs.

The teams will meet again Saturday night in Rochester. The Americans are affiliated with the Buffalo Sabres.
