….Brendan Gallagher has been cleared to play and will be in the Canadiens lineup for the first time since he broke his hand January 4th.

….….To make room on the active roster, LW Daniel Carr was returned to the St. John’s IceCaps.

….The Canadiens did not hold a morning skate but it can be assumed that Gallagher will replace Paul Byron on  right wing with  Alex Galchenyuk and Artturi Lehkonen.  Byron could be dropped to the fourth line to replace Carr with McCarron and Mitchell.
