As expected, Alex Auld will get the call in the Canadiens nets tomorrow night when they take on the surging Thrashers in Atlanta.

The Canadiens practiced at the Bell Centre this morning and then caught their flight to Atlanta.   The team is in a four game week and a stretch of five games in eight nights, so the start was predictable.  In his only other game this season, Auld was a 3-1 winner at Long Island.  That start was also during a scheduled four-game week.

Auld and his teammates should have their hands full. The Thrashers have been playing very well lately. They beat Detroit 5-1 last night for their third win in a row. They also shutout Washington 5-0 last Friday.

Don’t expect any other lineup changes from the one that led the Canadiens to a 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings last night at the Bell Centre.

The Canadiens return home to play the Buffalo Sabres Saturday night.
