….Arturri Lehkonen’s absence bring the number to six currently on the Canadiens injury list including both of the season’s starting goaltenders, defenseman David Schlemko plus forwards Ales Hemsky and Nikita Scherbak.

….The Canadiens started last season with a 9-0-1 record. That streak was halted when the Blue Jackets handed them a 10-0 defeat in Columbus Nov. 4th. The Canadiens followed with four straight wins leaving them with a 1-13-1 start to their season.
