19 year old Brendan Gallagher is going to get his fourth training camp start when the Canadiens take on the Bruins tonight at the Bell Centre.  Once again the Canadiens coaching staff will be assessing Gallagher’s ability when surrounded by front line talent.  Tonight he’ll play on a line with Tomas Plekanec and Michael Cammalleri.

Over the next two days the Canadiens will be cutting their training camp roster by half.  Gallagher’s performance in this camp has placed him on the bubble along with forwards Brock Trotter and Gabriel Dumont plus defensemen Raphael Diaz, Jeff Woywitka and Frederic St. Denis.   After tonight’s game the Canadiens will decide whether to offer centre Philip DeSimone a professional contract.   DeSimone, who graduated from the University of New Hampshire  in June, was in training camp on a tryout basis.
