The Hamilton Bulldogs scored three unanswered third period goals to defeat the Binghamton Senators 4-1 in their first pre-season game. The game was played Friday night in Victoriaville.
Alexander Avtsin scored two goals, Brock Trotter recorded three assists and Brian Willsie scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in the win. The Bulldogs outshot Binghamton 41-24. Robert Mayer was in the Bulldogs nets.
Hamilton will play the Senators again tonight (Saturday) at the Centre Marcel-Dionne in Drummondville. The Bulldogs open their season at home October 8th against Rochester.
